Kawah Ijen is a volcano loaded with sulfur which lies in East Java,
Indonesia. Sulfur miners walk up to the peak of the volcano, in order to
get into the mine inside the crater that is overflowing with a deep
pond of molten sulfuric acid. French photographer Olivier Grunewald
joined up with a few of these miners on their quest to capture a direct
view of the laborious work put into mining the yellow-colored mineral.
